My doggy!

I finally got out to take some pictures for myself.
I wanted to capture some of the deep freeze that
has hit Seattle & area the past week.

Of course, Bronte had to join me on my foray outside,
and we had to play ball too :)

This image was taken with the fisheye lens
which I just love for fun creative shots.

back to posting

Whoops, I kinda forgot about this blog and the daily posting I was supposed to be doing. Well, 2 months have gone by, but I will start up again.

Here is an example of my practicing today. Jack just loves to run back & forth across the backyard. He is a fast runner for 4! I practiced panning today and this one is my favorite. I like the way that Jack & Bronte are still blurred, giving the image motion. I will try to remember my settings for when I post here, but I think this was a lower SS, like 40, f around 4 or 5, shot in manual. I will check the settings when I open the pic in photoshop.

Nice to be back!

March 7

I hate to admit it, but I think I will be a once-a-week blogger. Just suits my style/schedule better.
These are pictures taken at my kids classes yesterday ~ Kami is just crazy, Jack is enjoying music circle. Yep ~ my kids.

February 17

Meet Conner. What a cutie! and the deepest blue eyes. We just did his 10 month photo session yesterday.

I owe a List of the Six Things That Make Me Happy:
1. yummy food
2. a rich California red Zinfandel
3. summertime
4. skiing on a warm spring day
5. the silence in the house after the kids are all at school
6. nailing my focus and exposure on a great shot

I took pictures at Kami's class today while they were participating in Jump Rope for Life.
P.S. I promise to do the 6 thing that I was tagged for. Just waaaay too tired tonight.
